Evans family - I am so sorry for your loss. I have such fond memories of sitting at your kitchen table talking with your mom about everything and anything going on in our lives, while she kept asking us to eat more! She was an amazing person, who always made me feel welcome in your home as if I was a family member and even better, she always made me feel good about life. She was so full of positive energy and brought joy to many...myself included at the top of that list. My deepest sympathy to all of you. She was an amazing person who touched many lives.

I am very sorry for your family's loss. I am sorry I didn't see the notice ahead of time, as I surely would have paid my respects in person. I met Pat when she was subbing at School 63 in my early days teaching. We continued our friendship through the years and went to administration school together, as well. We became colleagues as administrators and we enjoyed many times together. She was a very devoted mother and grandmother, as well as a school leader. When she retired, she was my go to person to fill in for me at school 54! She was loved by so many and by all that knew her. Prayers for all as I know she will surely be missed!

My deepest sympathy to the family of Pat Evans. She was a lovely lady, friend and next door neighbor. About 50 years ago her eldest son Richard and my eldest son Tom, played together when both our families lived on Colvin Avenue. Pat and I had many coffee klatches together while our children played. I remember she was sad because she wanted more than one child. We moved away and did not keep in touch. Many years later I bumped into her at the mall and learned she had increased the number in her family substantially. I remember her fondly, and I am sure she will be missed by all who knew her. RIP Pat. Your old friend Diana Notaro.

My heartfelt condolences to the Evans family. I knew Mrs. Evans when she worked as a principal at School 61. She quietly helped me during a very troubling period in my life. I pray that the Almighty extends His comforting embrace around her family and friends.

With sympathy to the Evans and Costanzo family. Memories growing-up are of Aunt Pat, as the "fun-Aunt" spending time together with family then and throughout the years. Many thoughts , prayers and strength to my cousins.

I first met Pat in 1958, when she came to School 48, and taught 5th grade next door to my 4th grade. We became good friends. Later, when we both were married, we lived in Williamsville near each other. She was a wonderful person, and I know her children are missing her already.

We were so sorry to read about your loss. I remember meeting your mother for the first time when we taught 5th grade together at school 48...also, when your Dad became our new assistent principle. As you know, it was love at first sight and I lost my lunch partner.... She was a very special determined woman - especially after your Dad died. To the Evans Family:
I was so sad to learn of your mom's passing. She was an amazing woman, beautiful inside and out. When I was younger, your mom was a true role model for me. She will be greatly missed, but she and your wonderful dad gave the world great children and grandchildren who are living reminders of their love and goodness.
