Visitation Thursday 10am -5:30pm at Grier Funeral Service 115 John McCarroll Charlotte. Burial Moore's Sanctuary AME Zion Church Cemetery.

I first met Mr Sifford when I was 17 years old for the 1973 Cdn open where I was working at Richelieu Valley. I went to pick him up at Ruby Foo`s hotel on Decari where he was staying with his nephew Curtis. I could not understand why they were staying ther when most of the other players were staying at the Holiday Inn in Longueuil which was much closer to the tournament.
