One of the best residents I ever work under as an intern in 1990. Very caring person, fair and honest man. He will be missed. Rest in peace my friend.

Brent was one of my residents at CCOM. I was the Program Director and Chair of the Department of Internal Medicine when Brent was a student, intern and resident. I remember him as a very dedicated, hard working resident. He never complained of the long hours and hard work during his training. He was a very compassionate physician and always put the needs of his patients first. We had some very good discussions during his residency. He was an outstanding asset to the profession. I am very saddened of the passing of a wonderful individual. My sincere condolences to his family.

Paul and family. Brent was my roommate for the final three years on medical school. We shared great times studying and great times laughing. It was 30 years ago but I can still hear him laugh! Those were difficult years and he was a great friend throughout. My words cannot express my shock at learning of his passing tonight. My prayers are with you.
