Joseph M. D'Antonio, age 69, Army Veteran, Retired Lieutenant CPD; beloved husband of Donna (nee Hruska); loving father of Nicole (Brian) Marth; A.J. (Tori) D'Antonio and Danielle (Eric) Erickson; cherished grandfather of Sofia D'Antonio, Izzie Marth, Joe D'Antonio II and Annie Marth; dearest brother of James and Michael D'Antonio; dear cousin of Mary Lou (Butch) DiNovo. Joe was a loving uncle, cousin, nephew and friend to many. Visitation Sunday 2-8 P.M. Mrs. D'Antonio and family,
I worked with Joe in Gangs South and later in the 9th District.
He was an outstanding Police Officer and a very good and loyal man.
He valued family first! He was a great friend.
I am privileged to have called him a friend.

My prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss.
I remeber the days I worked at Trio and me and joey would talk for hours over coffee and he would be scratching his lotto ticket.Thats when I got to know him very well. Also the day he surprised me by cooking a ham for me and my family. What a wonderful kind caring man.
Im sorry I couldnt attend his services but I am taking care of my mom and have limited time to myself.
