Not sure what to say?

My dearest Joey , you were the kindest , gentlest , most generous , giving person I ever knew . There was not one single person you would not give your help if needed . You are deeply and greatly missed every single day. I pray you are happy and at peace and out of pain and with our lord .
Love you forever and always till we meet again .

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Donna and family! I just heard of Joe's passing. I feel so bad, not to have paid my respects! Always remember all the great visit and parties at D Filippo s!! Thoughts and prayers to all!! Cousins from Blue Island. Carol Morrone

He was the greatest uncle and godfather anyone could ask for. I miss him dearly.

Rest In Peace Joe D! Condolences to Donna and the Family.

Mrs. D'Antonio and family,
I worked with Joe in Gangs South and later in the 9th District.
He was an outstanding Police Officer and a very good and loyal man.
He valued family first! He was a great friend.
I am privileged to have called him a friend.
My deepest sympathy and I will pray for you all as you go through this time of loss and grief.
Sincerely, Jack Halpin

Donna
My prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss.
I remeber the days I worked at Trio and me and joey would talk for hours over coffee and he would be scratching his lotto ticket.Thats when I got to know him very well. Also the day he surprised me by cooking a ham for me and my family. What a wonderful kind caring man.
Im sorry I couldnt attend his services but I am taking care of my mom and have limited time to myself.
God bless you and your family. Joey will...

Rest In Peace Joe D. When I was too young to realize the fragility of our time here, your guidance and counsel in the early mornings of a police station many years ago are memories I won't forget. Prayers and Peace to the D'Antonio family.

AJ and family. We are so very sorry for your loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We hope that warm memories take over when sadness is heavy.
