Mark Rork Obituary

Mark Rork passed away January 30 at age 56 of a rare liver cancer. He died peacefully-surrounded by his family in the home he lovingly restored with his wife of 33 years, Kim. Mark was educated in mechanical engineering at Bradley University, but his love of people quickly brought him into sales, where he excelled. Over the years he also became a self-taught mechanic, electrician, woodworker, cook, plumber, runner, and above all: a devoted husband and loving father. He is survived by his wife, three children, three grandchildren, three sisters, his mother, Eleanor, friends and clients across the country, and of course, the old green house on the corner of Liberty and Fifth. Services are private. Donations in his name can be made to: Cancer Research Foundation, Stand Up to Cancer, and JourneyCare Hospice.

Mark was a high school friend and I always appreciated hanging out with him. We both moved away shortly after graduation and followed our dreams.I can see He has done well and will be missed.
