I'm sorry to hear that my friend Patrick has passed. We had known each other since the early seventies, when we briefly dated, and over the years, kept in touch. But there were long intervals when we didn't communicate so the last I heard from him was in 2014. At that time he seemed to be in good health. It was a shock to learn this week, that he had died. I send my deepest sympathy to the family he spoke of often.

I am saddened to learn of Patrick's passing. We worked together in the '70's and have always stayed in touch. Remembering him on his Birthday as a genuine person who loved his family and telling a good story.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Pat's passing. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Pat was the first person who gave me the benefit of the doubt and, despite my limited experience, hired me as a copywriter in my first "big" agency. He was my first and most important mentor. I am forever grateful for his guidance, wisdom and friendship though the years. Rest in peace, Pat.
