Aunt Mary, you were so good to your dad! He was such a cool guy and it was always nice to see him at your house. Whenever golf is on t.v., I'll think of him. So glad I saw him recently and he was able to tell us the story of how he Recently bought a Red car. Red. Of course he chose Red at 91 years old. RIP, Papa Bill.

Mary and family, I just wanted to say how sorry I was to hear about your dad's passing. I did not find out until this morning or else you would have seen me at the wake. My apologies. He was one of my favorite people. He was always so kind and thoughtful. It was always a pleasure to see him and catch up a bit. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Barb and Family, I am so very sorry to hear about your dad. Gary and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. I can't believe that it has been at least 30 years since I last spoke with you. We had some good times, along with Birgit, at Jane Addams in our MSW Program. I now live in Evanston (847-864-6312) and my email is [email protected].

Barb, Mary & family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I have great memories of summer trips up to see everyone. Your Mom & Dad were like 2nd parents to me.

Our hearts are with Bill's family at this time of loss. How blessed our family was when Bill married Helen and he chose to remain an active member of the McGarr family, after our Uncle Al was killed in WWII. He was beloved by our parents, Don and Eileen McGarr. I was fortunate to have been part of the contingent that welcomed Bill home from his HonorFlight a few years ago. May your wonderful memories sustain you all. He finally has joined the rest of the "old Clan", whom I am sure were there to welcome him home!
