Jeanette, Connie Macha from visiting Oakley Place. I am so sorry to learn of the passing of dear sweet Glen. He was one of a man at a table full of women for meals and he did not mind. However he sure looked forward to the times his beloved wife would visit. He will be missed. My Aunt Gin- former resident of Oakley- also passed on October 6th. Been a tough time for all of us. You take care, Will miss seeing your smiling face at Oakley. Love and prayers to you and family. Connie Macha

I was sorry to learn of Glen's death. Unfortunately, I have not seen any of you for a few years, but you have my deepest sympathy.
One of these days I will retire and when I do, I know that I will have great satisfaction from the fact that I was able to help Glen and his family in the very difficult times of the mid and late 80's. Working with great families like the Matousek family was always the best part of my job.
If any of you get to Cloud and Republic counties, please stop and visit for a few moments. It would be great to see you and share a few memories with you as well as hearing an update on the entire family.
Again, my deepest sympathy. It was a pleasure to know Glen and everyone should thank the veterans like Glen and my Dad for all they did for this country.
Best regards to the entire family,
Jim Koch

Dear Jeanette and Family, It is with heartfelt sympathy that I convey what an honor it was to know Glen. He was the greatest flying hero I every had the opportunity to meet. Truly an unsung hero. And now, may his legacy of courage and strength live on in those who were the closest and dearest to him. You are in our thoughts and prayers at this time of overwhelming sorrow. May knowing that he is at peace; give you comfort and hope. Prayerfully, Alana
