GERALD L. "Jerry" STELTENKAMP

STELTENKAMP GERALD L. "Jerry" STELTENKAMP age 63. Beloved husband for 18 years of Nancy (nee Hendershot); loving father of Douglas of Ocala, FL, Dan of Cleveland and Ben Steltenkamp (wife Nicole) of Ocala, FL, Monte Curtis (wife Christine) and Kelli Kerwin (husband Rodney); devoted grandfather of John and Lisa Kerwin, Caitlin, Jennifer and Jake Curtis; dear brother of the late Kenneth. Jerry was a compassionate and loving man who was devoted to his family and career. He loved all sports, but golf was his favorite. He also enjoyed photography and traveling, but most of all spending time with his family and many dear friends. Jerry proudly worked at Sherwin-Williams for 24 years before he retired in 2006 as Director of State & Local Taxes. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1969 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and a Major in Political Science. He obtained his Law Degree in 1973 from North Kentucky University and was admitted to Ohio Bar. He was a member of the Ohio Bar Association, a member and past President of the Cleveland Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute and a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. He was very involved in the Ohio Manufacturers Association where he was instrumental in major Ohio Business Tax changes. Jerry also spoke at many tax conferences throughout Cleveland and the United States. Tribute Service Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 12 Noon at THE A. RIPEPI & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 18149 BAGLEY RD., MIDDLEBURG HEIGHTS (WEST OF I-71). Interment following at Woodvale Cemetery. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Jerry at the funeral home WEDNESDAY 4-8 P.M.
