Although this is years late, I came to know about Mrs Freiberg's passing from a teacher at Fernway.
Formerly Mrs. Kraumlauf, she was my third grade teacher. I remember her standing in front if the room doing flashcards like it was yesterday. As a little girl, I remember admiring how beautiful she was and her fashion! I remember her cool car too! She was my mentor in many ways. So sorry to hear she passed on from this life so young. She made a difference in so many lives. God Bless.

Miss Krumlauf was my third grade teacher at Fernway. She was a great teacher always willing to help and listen. I had a great relationship with her and all the kids loved her. She was the coolest and will be missed.

Sweet is the memory of distant friends! Like the mellow rays of the departing sun, it falls tenderly, yet sadly, on the heart. ~Washington Irving

Paula and I were good friends during high school and college. We had a lot of fun and I'll always remember those days with a smile. Over the years, distance separated us, but I feel like it's just yesterday we were carpooling to high school. I'll miss my friend Paula dearly.

Blessings and love to Ian and Morissa.

Dear Ian and Morissa, I was the new, super quiet teacher at Fernway back in 1979. Paula came into my classroom and became my first and dearest teaching buddy who became my idol. We all looked up to her with her amazing teaching skills, her confidence and her ability to speak her mind and tell it like it is. We all loved Paula. Ian your beautiful wedding on July 1, 1982 was like right out of the movies! Morissa, your birth on September 11th made your mom and dad simply burst with pride! Our family is that much richer to have known Paula and all of you. We are saddened beyond words of Paula's passing and find contentment that she is free of pain and suffering. With love and prayers, Kevin, Karen, Dustin, Jeremy & Lauren Smith

All of my college memories at Ohio university include Paula. She came to my dorm room at Crook Hall and asked if I had a match. Therafter Maria, Paula, and I were friends. Paula and I eventually became roomates in our junior and senior year in our first apartment which Paula decorated like a real home. I went on my first trip to Fort Lauderdale with Paula and Pat. We lost touch during the years of raising our children but we reconnected in 2012. I am so grateful for that and being able to see her and talk to her. My thoughts and prayers go to Ian and Morrissa.
