Not sure what to say?

Colin, I remember the larger than life character at the end of the bar regaling fan and player alike with tales and stories and rugby memories. Rest in peace mate, Albert FRLFC 1988-94

I think that your acting was nothing but brilliant .espcally in kes rip xx

I saw Kes when the film was released in 1969 and I was nine. Colins performance as Mr Farthing impacted me greatly and inspired me to enter the teaching profession. I will be retiring next year but will never forget this actor and this performance which had such an impact and influence on me. My thoughts are with you at this time.Thank you for sharing him with us.

Dear Colin, Love to your lovely wife,Pat. We were cousins & grew up in the War. My Father George Downes wa like a second father to him. Colin & I ould sit in the backyard of the BOOT INN in wallasey & talk for hours about the politics of the time. He was more left wing than me . I was middle of the road. Not sure!
Anyway Colin many nice memories of a true family man who came up to see me when we had a tragedy X

Deepest sympathy to Pat and family. Remembering all the happy times we had in Beverley Road, Barnes.
Juliet Sedgwick

My deepest sympathies to the Welland family for the loss of Colin. May God's Word strengthen you during this time of mourning. (Isa. 41:10,13)
