Alphonse Sierocki Obituary
Alphonse (Al) J. Sierocki, Jr. , age 74 of Shelton, entered into his eternal rest on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at Griffin Hospital Derby, after a long courageous battle with ALS.
Al is the devoted husband of 44 years to Laurie Mosback Sierocki.
Al was born in the Bronx, NY on July 4, 1940 son of the late Alphonse J. and Alice Harrison Sierocki, and was a Shelton resident since 1972. He retired as a paramedic from AMR.
He was an avid golfer, enjoyed making limoncello, and was well known for his horseradish, .
He loved the beach, playing pinochle, telling jokes, and spending time with family and friends.
Al is the beloved father of Kristen Bambule, and her husband Tim, and Adria Cancelosi, and her husband Andrew. He is the cherished grandfather of Hunter, and Kali, the brother of Jean Coppola, Jeannette Edwards, Audrey Barnett and her husband Tom, and James Sierocki.
He is the brother-in-law of Robert & Edith Mosback, Richard, and Shelagh Mosback, Gerard, & Tammi Mosback, Joseph & Anna Mosback, Susan, & Skip Jacobs, and Lynn, & David Harrington. Al also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Friends may greet his family on Friday (TODAY) from 3 to 7 PM in the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home 253 Elizabeth Street Derby. On Saturday family, and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Lawrence Church 505 Shelton Ave. Military honors will follow mass. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers Al's family requests memorial contributions to the ALS Association CT 4 Oxford Road Milford, CT 06460 Please offer online condolences to his family at www.riverviewfh.com

Hi Al's family - I went to Sacred Heart school and was in cub scouts with Al. I remember him as a real nice kid, never one to get in trouble and always a pleasant person. Went to his house on South Ave a few times and he came to mine as well to see ""T.V""
