Beatrice Comini Obituary
She helped to create the Soup Hour at St. Matthias Episcopal Church and the Overnight Shelter in Whittier.
Comini, a former educator, called herself, "City Council Watcher," as she regularly attended council meetings to stand up and fight on behalf of those who were down and out.

Thank you Victor, I have a lot fond memories of the times we spent together in our youth as well. I miss her alot. I hope things are well with you.

Dear Carolyn,
I am deeply sorry for the loss of your mother. I had no idea that she was such an incredible person, and that she was the one responsible for shaping you. I know it's been decades, but the friendship I had with you during our youth is one I haven't forgotten. I am many miles away from Whittier, but never too far from it's memories.
