NICHOLAS POSEGAY Obituary

Nicholas J. Posegay, age 76, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on April 16, 2015. He is the beloved husband of Gayle for 52 years; thoughtful father of Nicholas R., Ann McCoy and David; proud grandfather of Nicholas, Andrew, Amanda, Ben, Sam, Emma and Noah and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Nicholas graduated from Elmhurst College class of 1966 and received a master's degree from Northern Illinois University. He was a member of the Glen Ellyn Jaycees and the choir at the First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Friday, April 17th from 4-8 PM at the Leonard Memorial Home, 565 Duane St., Glen Ellyn. A church service will be held Saturday at 10 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Glen Ellyn, 424 Forest Ave. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery, Glen Ellyn. Sending love to you all! Some of my fondest memories of choir rehearsals were how wonderfully (and easily) we could crack Nick up. His smile & laughter were always a reward.
