Daniel Akaka

My late husband and I had the greatest pleasure to sit with Senator Akaka many years ago at the Okinawan Kai in Washington. We shared many stories and took several pictures together including his lovely wife Milly. It was such a happy occasion.
We received a beautiful letter from Senator Akaka telling us how pleased he was to receive copies of the pictures.
I am saddened at the loss of such a lovely man who dedicated his life for all of us.
