David Canary

Prayers to Dave's wire and family. Dave and I lived a bl9cj apart I Massillon. Dave has a car and I got to ride to school with him. Great football players our Massillon Tigers. Did some boxing but his love was acting and singing. He got me in a non speaking part in one of the plays at school. He was a wonderful friend and I will miss him forever.

While I loved him on TV I will never forget his performance in Camelot in Dallas Texas. Only time anyone can remember a musical stopping for a standing ovation. I had the privilege of being there. I’m so fortunate. We had Stage Door then. I waited to meet him. We now have Stage Door back. Prayers continue for his loved ones.

David, had nephew, Scott Canary, Massillon Ohio. I was in first grade with. Myers School, Pigeon Run Road. I'm Jim Pirrung, we acted together in a small play, Scott, was a lion tamer, 3 classmates and I played lions! Two of us live-in Massillon, 3rd lives in Florida. Would love to, meet Scott again! This is years later, but I'm watching the old Peyton Place series & also remembering watching him on All My Children. He was a handsome, vibrant man & my very favorite actor on both those shows. RIP David.

Very sorry for your loss. He was one of a kind

I saw David Canary playing Sir Lancelot in a touring production of Camelot in Dallas sometime in the 1980's. John Davidson played King Arthur. I think the roles should have been reversed. I would have loved to have seen David play the King. He was a very gifted actor.

Sorry to hear of David Canary's passing. I didn't hear about until I looked up cast of Bonanza actors. He was such a great actor. He will be missed. God Bless his family. RIP!
