News Death Notice

BRADING, Cathy Jo age 58, of Middletown, Ohio, passed away Friday, December 16, 2011 at Atrium Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 13, 1953 in Danville, Illinois. She served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era, as a clerk in Germany. She was employed at area factories, after leaving the service. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 528, and attended the Holy Family Parish. She enjoyed horse back riding, on her horses Brandy, Roman, and Prize. Preceding her in death was her father, Daniel T. Brading. She is survived by five children, Allessia Brading and significant other, Freeman Ward, Jr., Sergeant Khristan Brading and wife Jessica, Alphea Smith and husband Miguel, Alvereta Turner and boyfriend, Curtis Churchwell, and Khalan Brading; five grandchildren, Katrina, Kiani, Alansa, Miguel, and Bianca; her significant other for the past year and one half, Joe Zulock; one sister, Brenda Sayre; and one brother, Pat Brading. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown with Chaplain John Love officiating, followed by military services by the Middletown Combined Honor Guard. Arrangements by Herr-Riggs Funeral Home, 210 S. Main St., Middletown.
