I knew and worked with Harry when he was head of the Chiefs of Police Association in Harrisburg.
He was such a fine gentleman and good friend. My wife and I were truly saddened to hear of Harry's passing. He was really one of the good guys that you meet in your life. Wish there were more like him. RIP.

I was just thinking of your father when I heard of his passing. He was not only my first basketball coach (and I had many more in my career) but a great man and I have many fond memories of him while growing up in Lansdowne. He always had a heartly hello and pat on the back when I would see him and I'll never forget that in later years when my basketball career advanced and there would be an article in the paper, he would send me a copy and a nice note about how proud he was and that he was my first coach. May you rest in peace Chief and Coach Gabb. You touched many lives for the better. God bless the Gabb family

Mari & family -
With deepest sympathies to all. Growing up in Lansdowne was with a comforting safety net ... knowing your dad was Police Chief. I can remember seeing him at my safety post or at the bank on occasion. The good old days and happy memories. Take care.
