I always remember my Uncle Dick as being a very quiet man, but I have so many memories of him by stories told by my Grandma Edith, my Aunt Phyllis, and my mother. They all told me stories of Uncle Dick being a Knight in Shining Armor who appeared on a New Year's Eve and swept my Aunt off her feet. I always felt so special because Aunt Phyllis introduced her "intended" to the family on my first birthday!
Uncle Dick proved himself over and over again to be worthy of knighthood. He was a wonderful husband, father, son-in-law, brother-in-law, etc. Even though he remained a quiet Uncle, I knew I could always count on him if I needed anything. Thank you for your quiet, solid presence Uncle Dick. I will miss you.

I am so sorry for the lose of Bishop Labrum and also Sister Labrum. I had no idea that she had passed away. They both very good to my family and me. I missed them very much when I got married and moved out of the Kearns 3rd Ward. I also worked with Bishop Labrum when he had his own Drafting Supply Store on Redwood Road. He was always good to me. We had a lot of fun in our ward when he was bishop. I have to say that he has been the best bishop I have ever had. Even since I have been married. We have had good bishopes don't get me wrong but there is only one Bishop Labrum. Jeff, Janet, Michelle and Family, I am sure that you are definetly feeling the lose. My deepest sympathies for the lose of this Great Man.
