Jo Adcock, formerly of Pine Ridge Court, Elkhart, Indiana, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Oct. 17, 2025. She was 96.
Jo was a much-loved member of the Elkhart Optimist Club and known by many in the Elkhart area from her three decades behind the counter at Hopman Jewelers. Jo originally moved to Elkhart in 1975, first living on Greenleaf Boulevard then, after her divorce, was the first resident of the Pine Ridge Court subdivision.
She is survived by her sister Virginia Norris (100), two daughters Debra and TJ, and son Gary. There will be a private service held for her on Nov. 15 for family and close friends.

She was such a great person and I really enjoyed working with her and calling her my friend. She was so kind to me when I was learning all things in the jewelry business. She had me over to her home several times and we always had a lot of laughs together. She made this world a better place. Gods speed my friend!
