Granny,
Words cannot explain how much you mean to me and how much I am missing you. I know that within time we will meet again and I will get to see your beautiful smiling face and feel your soft tender hand in mine.
You were such a wonderful role model to everyone you knew. Not only for your children, but for your grandchildren as well. I am honored and feel extremely privileged to have had you in my life, not only as my grandmother but as my friend. I love you very much and I know that you are always with me.
With all of my love,
Nubia C. Dyer

Ray and Minerva, Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your mother. I know how much you loved her and how very special she was to so many.

After having suffered the loss of John just one month ago, I can certainly understand how tender your heart must be right now.

I am as near as the phone should you ever need a shoulder or an ear.

I will keep you and the rest of your family in my prayers.

My dearest Mother, I personally want to thank you for who you were and, how much you meant/mean to me! You are solely responsible for who and what I am, which I hope I never displeased you in any way. I also want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your encouragement and moral support when I needed you most! Through all the trials and tribulations we experienced as a family, you never lost sight of who you were or where you came from. You never met a stranger that your word and laughter failed to impress him/her. Mom, thank for making us believe in humility and humbleness and ,most of all, respect for our fellow man ,and for believing and having faith in me. Those ingredients/qualities you instilled in me, will live in me in me until I see you again! "Rest in Peace Mom", I know you are in a better place, I want to thank you for giving me the honor of being your son as I did of you being my "Mother", I will forever love and miss you dearly! Your son Ramon "Ray".
