Amy Brookhouser Obituary
A memorial service will be held on Monday at 7 p.m. at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, officiated by Sister Pat Fesler, H.M., for Amy Brookhouser, 45, who died Thursday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Ms. Brookhouser was born on Sept. 26, 1970, in Erie, Pa., the daughter of Michael R. and Georgia F. (Ragan) Brookhouser.
She was a 1988 graduate of Strong Vincent High School. After high school, Amy received her Bachelor's degree from Gannon University in her hometown of Erie, Pa.
Amy enjoyed cooking, gardening, and also had an interest in cars. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family.
Amy is survived by her daughter Meris Faye, at home; brother Eric (Kat) Brookhouser, of Erie; and many great friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and grandparents.
Family and friends may call on Monday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

I only knew her from the political forum we both posted on. However, she was a great person that offered to send money for pizza when I was struggling financially in military. I never took up the offer, but that stuck with me knowing that a stranger could be so loving. I loved her wit and sarcasm. Rest easy Amy.

amy I loved your wit and humor. I remember countless times on voice chat with you and the others making jokes and saying ridiculous things just to say them. you touched my life even though we never met in person. I only knew Amy from an online political website we both frequented, but her comments there were always clearheaded, insightful, and poignant. Not only is our little corner of the Internet worse for her loss, certainly the world is as well. God bless her in the next life and bless those here whom she left behind.

I knew Amy from an online forum we both frequented. She was the nicest person I know of and I miss her dearly already. I lit a candle at church this morning in her honor, and will do so every week. Amy's passing is a terrible loss for me. Just being acquainted with her was a great blessing. May her memory be eternal. My sincerest condolences to the family.
