Charles Stofko Obituary

Charles C. Stofko, Sr., 94, of Bethlehem, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at Gracedale in Nazareth, PA. Born July 6, 1919 in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Jacob and Agnes (Straka) Stofko. He was married to Amelia (Bratkovics) Stofko for 53 years until her death on April 3, 1996. Personal: Charles worked in his family's business the J.J. Stofko Meat Market in Bethlehem and also for the Maples Restaurant in Bethlehem. He was also a loyal Philadelphia Phillies and Eagles fan. Survivors: He will be missed by his children, Charles C. Stofko, Jr. and wife Janet of MD and Lawrence D. Stofko and wife Sherrie of Bethlehem, daughters, Charlotte Alai and husband Joseph of OH and Carol Ann Brown of Wind Gap, brother, William Stofko, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Andrew, John, Joseph and George Stofko, sisters, Elizabeth Sikora and Sonia Shortell, son-in-law, Stephen Brown and a great granddaughter, Sakura.
