Joseph C Kayal 81 formerly of Washington NJ, died November 18th 2013 in the Masonic Home, Burlington NJ. Born: Born in Washington NJ November 19, 1931 he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret (Najjar) Kayal Personal: Joe had worked at the family store in Washington NJ, The California Market was a long time family grocery store on West Washington Ave. Later he open J.C. Kayal Menswear in Washington NJ Memberships: He graduated in 1950 from Washington High School then served in the United States Air Force.A long time Mason, he was a member of the Masonic Temple Mansfield Lodge # 36 F & AM in Washington NJ. He was also a former member of the Washington Elks Club holding many offices within the club. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking and loved playing cards. Joe also was an avid baseball fan. Survivors: He is survived by his loving daughter Cynthia (Kayal Rufo and her husband Paolo of Belmont Mass, two brothers Jerry Kayal of Centerville and Robert Kayal of Allentown PA, three grandchildren Gianpaolo, Stefano and Giulia and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 3 brothers, James, Arthur and Charles and a sister Rosemary Kayal. Services: Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 11AM in the DeVoe Funeral Service 136 West Washington Ave Washington NJ. Friends may call 10-11AM in the Funeral Home.
