Regina Williams Obituary

Regina M. Williams, 86, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away Thursday, June 30th, at Brookmont Health Care Center, Effort, PA Regina was born in Philadelphia, PA on July 1, 1929, a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret (Krause) McBride. She was the wife of Wesley T. Williams. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last November. Regina was a 1947 graduate of Mastbaum High School in Philadelphia, PA. She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church in Pen Argyl, PA. In addition to her husband Wesley, Regina is survived by three daughters, Kathleen DePalma, Jeanne Mitchell and Loraine Mertz, four sons, Thomas J. Williams, Joseph T. Williams, James Williams and John Williams, and 13 grandchildren. Regina was preceded in death by two brothers Edward and Albert McBride, a sister Margaret Bucher, and 1 grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 6th at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, 300 W. Babbit Ave., Pen Argyl, PA with Msgr. Vincent York officiating. Friends are invited to call 10 - 11 AM on Wednesday, July 6th at the church. Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Cemetery, Pen Argyl, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James B. Gaffney Funeral Home, Pen Argyl, PA. Online condolences may be offered at gaffneyparsons.com.
