Sadie Stapleton Obituary
FAIRBORN — Sadie Rae Stapleton, 88, of Fairborn, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Miami Valley Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on November 7, 1925 in Vanceboro, North Carolina to the late Kinsey and Sadie (Gatlin) Nobles. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Walter Stapleton. Sadie is survived by her children, Gloria J. (Michael) Chrisman, Walter Ray (Connie) Stapleton of Copperacove, Texas; grandchildren, Stephanie (Robert) Minor of Ripley, West Virginia, Sarah (Donald) Castiglia of Roy, Washington, Ethan Chrisman, Maggie Chrisman, Jade Stapleton of Copperacove, Texas; great grandchildren, Robert and Colton Minor of Ripley, West Virginia. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Friday, September 5, 2014 and 9:30 - 10:30 am Saturday, September 6, 2014, at Newcomer Funeral Home & Crematory (3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek), where her funeral service will begin at 10:30 am Saturday.
