Obituary

On Tuesday, March 24, Germanwings Flight 4U9525 crashed in the Alps of France, killing all 144 passengers and all six crew members. The passengers were en route from Barcelona, Spain, to Duesseldorf, Germany. Among the passengers were 16 high school students and two of their teachers from Haltern, Germany; two well-known opera singers; and other passengers of many nationalities.

I love you Steffen. My heart hurts so much every time I read the news. I google "Germanwings plane crash" every day just so I might see your picture again. But it's hard and I cry all the time. I'm so sorry you didn't get to live your dreams. I miss you so much, love, Sophia xxxxxxxxx

We will never know what you all felt in these last minutes, but we know that now nothing can hurt you and we commend you to God, An accident is terrible, but this evil is really unacceptable. There is little comfort for those left behind, but we storm heaven in prayer to give you PEACE. ETERNAL REST GRANT UNTO ALL WHO WERE VICTIMS OF THIS HORRIBLE ACT.

We will never know. Nor will we ever really understand what caused this tragic event. The loss of so many...the thoughts of the little ones is so awful. May you find comfort in the memories of your loved ones.
