Dear Command Family:
Words can't express how sorry we are to hear about the loss of Jim. His teammates who played with him with the Phillies, Miami Marlins and Buffalo Bisons spoke very highly of him as a friend and as a genuinely great person.
May God be with your family at this difficult time. You all are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mike and the Command family, My condolences on the passing of your Dad. He epitomized one of the finest compliments one can receive: "he was a good man". He treated people with kindness, warmth, and a knack for making you feel important. He gave much to the people of the GR community , especially the Catholic community. I will always be indebted to him for the way he treated me , a young coach always trying to learn. He never hesitated to share. He was a "Hall of Famer in every sense of the word and in all aspects of his life. I know you are proud to call him Dad, and you should be. God bless you all, Terry Bocian

Dear Command Family,
I was so looking forward to seeing all of you today. It breaks my heart that I couldn't make it to the funeral as I am recovering from surgery. The pain would not allow me to attend. I heard that it was a wonderful service.
Mary and I send our sympathy to you all.
We wish you God's Peace.

Tim, Marci and family,
You guys were a great support to your dad over the years! You were there for him making sure he had things to do especially after the passing of his wife. It was always so good to see him along with Tim coaching Alex and Max's basketball team! He always seemed so excited to be there! You guys meant so much to him! It is so special that he was able to see Allie get married! I will treasure the look on his face as he watched and listened with head phones hearing everything clearly and smiling as they said their vows! He will be missed greatly but you have many cherished memories to remember him with! May the peace that passes all understanding surround you at this difficult time! Love and prayers to you guys!

Judy and all the Command's...
Your father brought many happy moments in my life and left me with a treasure of memories. I will never forget him. Recently your dad went with Judy, myself, and some other girlfriends to the casino. It was one of the those memories that brings me a smile because he was teasing me and giving Judy a hard time. Those are the kind of things that he will be remembered for - making people smile and bringing laughter in their lives. And while it is going to be very difficult to think of this world without him, it is a happy thought knowing that wherever he is, he is only spreading happiness and hanging out with Mrs.C.

It is the little things, the small, everyday occurrences that you will remember. The laughs, the stories, the smiles. And even though it seems like you can never recover from your loss, it is these very memories that will help push the pain away and bring back the smiles.

Judy,I am praying for you and your family in this difficult time. May his soul rest in peace and God's light shine on him.
