Wilbert "Billy" Hardee Sr.

Wilbert "Billy" Hardee Sr., 76, of Vallejo, California, a World War II veteran who worked at Mare Island Naval Shipyard for 40 years before retiring in 1982, passed away of heart failure at a Vallejo hospital on Tuesday, January 18, 2000. A quiet hour was scheduled for Thursday, January 20, 2000, 7-8 p.m., at Cooley and Riolo Mortuary, 505 Couch Street, Vallejo. Services took place on Friday, January 21, 11 a.m., at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, officiated by the Rev. Joseph Flowers. Burial followed at Skyview Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
