Kathy, your first year coaching at Talawanda and we draw the Middies for the post season tournament. I'll never forget our win and as we were celebrating in the locker room someone yells, "Kathy, your dad wants to come in." Silence falls as we see your dad walk in as if it is at halftime of a Middies football game, and the Middies are down...Big time! We all freeze. Once the door is closed, the largest, greatest smile comes over you Dad. He says, "way to go Kat!" and gave you the biggest hug as he lifted you off the floor. Awesome! He was so proud of you! Goosebumps....it was my favorite memory of not only your dad but of my four years at Talawanda!
