Haig Boyajian Obituary

"Larry," age 90, died peacefully at his Pembroke Pines home June 17, 2014, with his wife of 60 years, Paula, by his side. Born in Lawrence, Mass., he remained in Munich, Germany following service in the military during World War II. While running a PX there, he met Paula, brought her back to the U.S., received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Miami, and Master's degree in Labor Relations from Cornell University. In Florida he worked first for Stevens Markets, and later became personnel director for Grand Union, where he remained until his retirement in 2000. Larry liked to have a good time with his friends, travel and play golf. He had a flair for writing, and was a gifted speaker. A devoted husband and steadfast friend, he will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He will be honored with a military funeral Friday, July 11, 2014, 1:00 p.m., South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Rd. 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
