June Eshleman Obituary

June G. Eshleman

Loving wife, mother and friend, June Eshleman, passed away peacefully at home Wednesday morning, November 28, 2012.
June is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years, Neil; children, Craig, Norelle, Lynn (Mark) and Gail; grandchildren, Tyler (Jamie), Crystal (Chad), Alex, Travis, Daniel, Lucas, Nicole and Beau; great-grandchildren, Colby, Sydney, Lane and Chase; brother, Jack Johnston; cousin, Jack Johnstone; cousins in Scotland; nieces; and a lifetime of wonderful friends.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 15, 1936, June was the first child of Jack and Catherine Johnston, who preceded her in death.
June and Neil began their life together when, while serving in the US Air Force stationed in Scotland, Neil met June on January 1, 1954. It was love at first sight and after one month Neil proposed. Eventually, the family and extended family moved to Seattle and settled in Edmonds, WA where they remained for over 50 years. Together, they built a life with each other, family, community and dear friends.
June was a wonderful wife, mom and homemaker whose door was always open for unforgettable celebrations spanning decades. June was known for her positive spirit and had an impact on all who met her. June and Neil pursued countless memorable adventures traveling, boating and exploring.
June also, with great affection, worked for Father Henaghan and Father Haydock of Holy Rosary for many years.
We loved her dearly and will carry with us her spirit, grace, wit, humor and love. She will remain, forever in our hearts.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Holy Rosary Church in Edmonds. Please sign the guest book:
