Andrew Heavin Obituary

ANDREW L. HEAVIN JR. "ANDY". Was born in Houston, Texas September 27,1926. He was a WW II Veteran. Attended Aldine High School and in his younger years a Professional Golden Gloves Boxer. A Tool Grinder by trade for 45 years for TRW. He passed away at his home after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at 2:00 a.m. He was 82 years of age, he is to be cremated. Mr. Heavin was preceded in by death by his wife of 57 years, Ettie Elizabeth Heavin, son, Andrew B. Heavin, granddaguhter Lenora Jenkins, and brother W.H. Heavin.There will be a memorial service for both Mr. and Mrs. Heavin at a later date in combination. He leaves behind a son Herbert Lloyd Heavin, wife Janet Heavin and four grandchildren of Indiahoma, Oklahoma. A daughter Neice Heavin and two grandsons of Sulphur Bluff, Tx; sons, Jerry Heavin and wife Gloria of Houston, Tx,. Terry V. Heavin and wife Mary Jo Heavin with three grandchildren. Grandson, Lonnie Heavin, and extended family members. Special thanks to Thomas and James Ussery for their love and support during Mr. Heavin's illness, for which made his last days comfortable.
