Eloise Fleming was the mother of Ann Burdett, one of my best friends! Mrs Fleming raised Ann to be a fabulous woman, a gifted artist, and a wonderful mother to Chris Burdett. I never met Ms Fleming in person, but I felt that I knew her after Ann shared their history.
Sending condolences to the family.

Jackie was a woman of a generation of exceptional people. a world war and a great depression. Through all she not only persevered she excelled. I had the wonderful privilege of having her in my life since my 20's. She and my Mother were of the same ilk, strong, bright, independent, persistent people. Jackie helped me understand my Mother's struggle and mine in periods of long care taking after Mom's stroke. I will miss her greatly and her example of what women can do and be if they apply themselves.
