Janet Susan "Susie" Berling
Passed away June 28, 2014. She was born to Willard (late) and Rosemary Canfield on Dec. 2, 1951 in Clinton, IN. Survivors: son, Jacob Berling; mother, Rosemary Canfield; sister, Nancy Otten (Dwight Lamb); nephews, Ryan Otten (Kristin, Cece) & Justin Otten (Irena, Vera, Alexander); cousin Maureen Wagner, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She graduated from Ben Davis High School, where she was a member of the Student Council and Marching Band, and attended Indiana University. She worked at The Indianapolis Star, Riley Hospital Foundation, the Eiteljorg Museum, Indianapolis Arts Council, and other non-profit organizations. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She loved animals, arts and music, cooking, and most of all her family.
