Not sure what to say?

Jeff Baxter and Jack Riley -- Baxter & Riley, the comedy team on Cleveland radio in the early 1960's. WERE 1300 in the mid afternoon. This is my most memorable recollection of Jack.

Jack, the Bob Newhart Show is one of my all time favorite shows. The casting was perfect. Your contributions still hilarious no matter how many times viewed. And now hard to believe you've been gone four years. You are not forgotten and still dearly missed.

Rest Jack, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.

TO THE RILEY FAMILY:
I AM TRULY SO SORRY TO HEAR THAT JACK RILEY HAS PAST AWAY, WHEN I HEARD THE NEW ABOUT HIS PASSING I WAS SHOCK, MY HEART WAS BROKEN. I COULD SAY THAT JACK WAS BRILLANT & TALENTED HE WAS, I WAS SAYING TO MY SELF HOW MANY PEOPLE TALENTED ACTORS, ACTRESS, SINGERS WE HAVE LOST THIS PAST YEAR. ALSO, HE LEFT A GREAT LEGACY ON THE FINE JOB HE DID AS A ACTOR, THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES, HE MADE US LAUGH AS WELL. I DO REMEMBER WATCHING THE BOB NEWHART SHOW WHICH I THINK EVERYONE...

Sincerest condolences to the Riley family; From Cungaman and Mr. Soul of the Thompson family. We will miss him on this side, but know that he left behind a legacy in the film and Television industry that will live on forever. RIH

My heart is so heavy.
I started out as your employee and within a few months I became your friend and you became my friend we were so close we laugh together I laughed at your jokes you laughed at mine and we would know what each other was thinking that's how close we've become and now you're gone to a better place and may God bless you and I will keep living and laughing just like you did. In your honor.
Thanks for the best 4 years on a job that I ever had . You will always and...

Jim,

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother, Jack. Although I never met him personally, his television persona made him a virtual friend who was always good for some laughs. My heartfelt sympathy for you and your family
