James was born on March 5, 1922 and passed away on Monday, March 28, 2016. James was a resident of Norwalk, Connecticut at the time of his passing. Noble attended Southern Methodist University to study drama and engineering. He joined the Navy in World War II. He served as Lieutenant JG on the USS Taussig a destroyer in the Pacific. He was married to Carolyn. A memorial mass will be held on Friday April 8 2016 at 10;30 AM at St. Matthew Church 216 Scribner Norwalk CT 06854.Full Military Honors will directly follow the mass. Memorial donations may be made to Theatre Artists Workshop in Norwalk Connecticut 5 Gregory Street East Norwalk CT 06855 www.taworkshop.org.

To The Noble Family:
Benson was a spin off of SOAP who work Jessica Tate's SHARPE Butler who moves up in the world, working for the Governor Eugene Gatling AKA James Noble, when I heard the news my heart was broken that he past away on March 28th, the next day we lost another actress Patty Duke on March 29th, they were both talented, out standing performers. I truly fondly love the show "BESON" it made us all laugh that Gov. Eugene Gatling who happen to hire Benson Dubois to work for him...
