Joel Christian-Britton Cornette, beloved son of Joel C. and Christi H. Cornette. Loving brother of Jordan and Jonathan Cornette. Devoted grandson of Gladys and the late Harold Jenkins and the late Jack and Joyce Cornette. Dear uncle of Carter Cornette. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Died Aug. 16, 2016. Age 35. A Memorial Service will be held at Hinkle Field House on the Butler University Campus in Indianapolis, IN on Monday, Aug. 22nd at 11:00AM followed by a reception. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd at Noon at St. Vincent Ferrer Church 7754 Montgomery Road Cinti., OH 45236. Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Homes serving the family. Joel and Christi, hello, it´s Peter. I used to babysit the boys years ago. I just found out about Joel and needless to say, my heart was crushed. To Gladys, Christie, Terry and the entire family
Words cannot express the sorrow I felt after hearing about the passing of your dear love one. When talking to Gladys she always spoke of him with such love and pride. In the bible Matt 5:4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Just know that you are loved and cared for. I am praying for you all.

My heart hurts for the Cornette family. Joel was very special to me and touched my heart the minute I met him. I've only known him for six years, but feel like I've known him a lifetime and knew he would be a part of my life forever.
