Chief Joseph Medicine Crow

I am honored I had the chance to meet Dr. Medicine Crow at the dedication of the middle school in Billings that bears his name. His voice was strong and his handshake firm. I had read his autobiography, which was assigned to my daughters in school, and we went to see him in person. In my mind I call him "grandfather" after a character in my favorite novel, Til We Have Faces. To the family of Mr. Medicine Crow I offer my deepest sympathy. To live to be 102 years of age is more than God stated that the average man would live. Psalms 90:10 Mr. Medicine Crow was acceptional in is lifer span and the contribution he made to humanity during his lifetime. May the family have good memories as you go through the grieving process.
