Maruszewski, Jean E. (Nee Schipper ) Born to Eternal Life on Saturday, July 26, 2014. Age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Adolph J. Maruszewski. Loving mother of Stephen (Kathleen) of Riverwoods, IL, Clifford (Christine) of Muskego and Joseph (Aleksandra) of Skokie, IL. Cherished grandmother of Anthony, Sabrina, Ryan, Nikola and Marko. Preceded in death by her sisters Margaret (the late Joseph) Schmidt and Alice Schipper. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Visitation THURSDAY, July 31, 2014, from 9:30 - 11 AM at ST. MARTIN OF TOURS CHURCH, 7933 S. 116th St., Franklin. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Jean's first priority was her family. She was also a passionate reader and carried on the Schipper family tradition of baking. She maintained high school friendships and enjoyed participating in various Bridge and card clubs. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
