Kevin O’Morrison, an actor who appeared in such films as “Sleepless in Seattle” and “The Set-Up,” has died at the age of 100, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

O'Morrison died Dec. 11 at a living facility for older adults in Lynnwood, Washington, his cousin Jim Davidson told The Hollywood Reporter.

In the popular Nora Ephron movie “Sleepless in Seattle,” O’Morrison played the father of Meg Ryan’s character. He had a supporting role in the 1949 film noir classic “The Set-Up,” playing a prizefighter. He again played a boxer in the 1950 movie “The Golden Gloves Story.”

The actor, who was born May 25, 1916, in St. Louis, Missouri, made his debut in 1947 in the film “Dear Ruth,” which starred William Holden. Later, he appeared with Chevy Chase in the George Roy Hill movie “Funny Farm.”

O’Morrison starred on television as the title character in the TV series “Charlie Wild, Private Detective.” The series ran in the 1950-1951 season.

The actor was born in St. Louis. He later became a playwright whose plays were performed mostly off-Broadway across the country.

He is survived by his wife, Linda.
