James Burbage Obituary
James J. Burbage, of Bronxville, NY, died while vacationing in Naples, FL, on Feb. 2, 2015. Beloved husband of Maureen Burbage, loving father of Michael (Montserrat) and Elizabeth (Joseph) Wroblewski, adored grandfather of Luke, Matthew, Julia, Jaimie, Freddie, Jose and Marjorie, dear brother of Rosaleen, Sr. Joan, Elizabeth and predeceased by Edward, Kevin, Katherine and Margaret. Son of the late James and Margaret Burbage of Drumlish, Co. Longford, Ireland. Jim graduated from Manhattan College 1960. He went on to work as a stockbroker at Merrill Lynch for 40 years and loved his work. Calling hours at the Fred H. McGrath and Son, Funeral Home, Bronxville between the hours of 2 to 5 pm Sunday. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial St. Joseph's Church, Bronxville, on Monday, February 9 at 10:45 am.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any man's death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.
