John Hoare Obituary
John G. Hoare of Yorktown Heights passed away on October 12, 2015. He was 69 years old. John worked in finance at the Wildlife Conservatory Society. He was born in 1945 in the Bronx, NY, to John and Mary Hoare. John served in the Armed Forces in Vietnam and did his post-graduate studies in public administration. He will be remembered for his caring manner and compassion for his family and others. He is survived by his wife, Robby, his daughters, Allyson and Lesley and his grandchildren, Bradley and Tucker. He was well-loved and will be truly missed. Calling hours are Monday, October 19th from 2 - 4pm and 7 - 9pm at Clark Funeral Home in Yorktown Heights. The Mass of Christian Burial is Tuesday, October 20th, 10:30am, at New St. Patrick's Church in Yorktown Heights. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Guiding Eyes for the Blind - Autism Dog Program.

The Manhattan College alumni community shares the grief, and is now praying for our fellow alumni and the family at this time. The Alumni Office has been informed. As well as the Jasper Jottings community that I personally can reach. We are all a little poorer now. "No man is an island, entire of itself ... any mans death diminishes me". We are sorry for your loss.

John Hoare was one of the finest people I have worked with or known. He calmly came up with the right solution for whatever your budget problem. Because he was the person he was, and good at what he did, he was burdened by many in need of help.
John was so proud of his family, Robby, Allyson, and Lesley, just as they were proud of him. He loved being grandfather to Bradley and Tucker. I hope they know how much love and respect people outside his family had for him.
Elsie and I are very sad because we have lost our close friend John.
John, rest in peace.
