Marydell was like a grandma to me. I met Marydell when I was new to Lubbock and had few friends. She took me to her Wednesday Bible class, and became my friend. I really enjoyed her friendship. I will forever remember her kindness, gentleness, and love.

Thanks for being a faithful and loyal friend to my parents, Clark and Ruth Johnson. They thought the world of you. I'll always be grateful for your presence and support at their funerals in 2004 and 2005.
