I am extremely inspired by Mamie's accomplishments and send my deepest condolences. She is an inspiration to so many young people like me who want to achieve something whether it be swimming a lap or scoring a goal, and she has told us to strive and work for that goal no matter what obstacle may lay in the way. Thank you Mamie Johnson for inspiring me to achieve anything. You've got one strong right arm but you have an even stronger heart

My prayers are with the family of this great lady for breaking the chains on professional baseball for females, I know some of her family in Charlotte, NC
