My name is Rand Tucker I was waiting in line for Steven Stills tickets and the line started to push and yelled to stop. Mario took me aside and asked if i had that rounchy voice i said i was the one, He took me out of the line and told me to buy my tickets so i did. One week later i came to the show i bought a nice bottle of wine for him that got knocked out of my hands as i was handing it to him it hit the ground and splattered all over his suit, he brought me into his office and told me...

I had many nights where mario and myself would sit around and talk about rock and roll. I left la and found out he passed. Mario is in rock and roll heaven. My wife and myself will always remember him. Regla and alan miss you.

I remember meeting Mario when I lived in Los Angeles in the late 70's. When I relocated to the Coachella Valley I would occasionally come into Los Angeles and stop by The Rainbow Bar and Grill. Mario had a huge heart for people. He always gave you his time. It was a honor to meet him and know a true legend. God Bless his soul and his family.

I spent the summer of 1966 in Los Angeles between my second and third year of law school at U. of Illinois. A friend knew Mario and asked if he had any summer jobs available. Mario hired me to work at The Whiskey A Go Go and we spoke about his time in Chicago and him being a bailiff. He liked me and treated me like a son. Mario had me positioned at the front door of the Whiskey. I met countless celebrities and music icons. I never forgot Mario and what a great person he was. Fifty one years...
