Nancy H. Frain

Nancy Helena (O’Shea) Frain, 73, of Holyoke, passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Holyoke, daughter of the late John F. and Mary (Begley) O’Shea and was a graduate of Holyoke High School, Class of 1960. Nancy had been employed as a secretary at Western Massachusetts Electric Company, and later was a teller at the Holyoke Credit Union. She is survived by her husband, William F. Frain, three children: David William Frain of Montgomery, Kerry Patricia Normandin and her husband Peter of Goshen, and Michael John Frain of Holyoke, two grandchildren, Nicole and Mason, three sisters: Patricia Neill and her husband Jack of South Hadley, Lillian O’Shea of Holyoke and Kathleen Champoux and her husband David of Nantucket, and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was predeceased by a brother John F. O’Shea and a sister Mary E. Smith. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9:00 from the Barry J. Farrell Funeral Home, 2049 Northampton Street, followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Cross Church, 23 Sycamore Street. Burial will follow at Saint Jerome Cemetery.
