Janet Bernhard Obituary
Janet C. Bernhard, 72 years, of Trexlertown, passed away on Friday, March 30 in the Inpatient Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital, 17th and Chew streets, Allentown. She was the wife of Alfred Berhnard for 52 years in October. Born in Hynamansville, she was a daughter of the late Luther G. and Edna (Sechler) Schroeder. She was a dispatcher for Lucent Technology for 32 years retiring in 1997 and was a member of the Pioneer Club. She was a member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Trexlertown. Survivors: Husband; daughter, Julie, wife of Michael Malloy, of Upper Macungie Township; son, Jeffrey of Allentown; brother, Daryl of Tacoma, Wash.; sister, Laureen, wife of Carl Hoffman, of Kutztown; grandchildren, Betsy Bockoras, April, Steven, Michael and Sarah Furbur, and Thomas Malloy; four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by children Judy, Jody and Jimmy. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Pauls Union Church, Seiberlingsville. Interment, church cemetery. Call Monday 7-8:30 p.m., Keller Funeral Homes Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville and Tuesday, 10-11 a.m. in the church. Contributions: To be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice, c/o the funeral home, P.O. Box 52, Fogelsville, 18051.

Merry Christmas Eve Mom, Love you, hope all is well. Christmas Eve service was hard, but I got through it. Dad has been in the hospital 55 days now. Thank you for looking over him.
