Misao Okawa

I see she has a granddaughter named Miyoko who wrote a book about her and her cat, Fukaru. Please ask her if by chance she is the same Miyoko who worked for the Shands in Santa Monica, California in the late 1960´s and early `70´s. I would love to contact her is she is

It appears that Misao Okawa had more than birthdays each year, she enjoyed quality of life partaking of the things she loved and adored. I am convinced that Ms. Okawa's long life is evident that our loving Creator endowed us with eternity in our hearts. My condolences to the family!

I am deeply sorry for your loss, while words cannot completely erase the sorrow felt because of her loss, Gods word assures us at 1Peter 5:6,7 that he truly cares for us and wants to help, I hope this will bring a measure of comfort to your family.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

To her family: WHAT a blessing you all had to have had her with you for so long. I feel that God chooses "special" ones to live that long and it's obvious she brought so much joy. May she rest in peace, bless her little soul and bless her survivors.
